Our Mission
Ice Cream for Change is a platform of ice cream lovers and makers advocating for social change and civic action. From dismantling racial injustice to fighting climate change, our goal is to use the power of ice cream as a force for good by helping to raise money and awareness for organizations who are driving solutions and making real-world impact across the globe.
NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY
We launched Ice Cream for Change on National Ice Cream Day 2020 during a very dark time in our country’s history in order to use our platform to speak out against systemic racism, inequalities, injustice, and inequities because enough is enough— change is coming!
We’re asking the ice cream community to donate a percentage of sales to a charity that’s in support of dismantling racial injustice.
Our goal is to use the power of ice cream to “FREEZE OUT” these systemic wrongs by helping to raise funds for organizations fighting racism.

Any ice cream company, brand, scoop shop, parlor, and even home ice cream makers across the globe who want to help end systemic and structural racism through the power of ice cream and other frozen treats are welcome to join us.
To participate and receive next steps, as well as our National Ice Cream Day toolkit, fill out the Ice Cream for Change Sign-up Form by July 1, 2021, but the sooner the better.
This global ice cream sale will take place on National Ice Cream Day, Sunday, July 18, 2021 in scoop shops, ice cream parlors, retail locations, homes, and through contactless deliveries wherever ice cream is available.
